Florida Concealed Carry Class | CCW Licensing Course
Who it is for: Any Florida resident who wants to obtain their Concealed Weapon License or who wants to carry with real confidence rather than just a permit.
Florida’s minimum CCW requirement is a low bar. This course sets it much higher. Built around live-fire training that actually teaches you to shoot and carry responsibly, the Florida CCW class covers everything required for your Concealed Weapon License application — including firearm safety, Florida use-of-force law, responsible concealed carry, and live-fire qualification — without wasting hours on classroom-only instruction that does not transfer to the real world.
Two paths to certification are available. Complete two private lessons or the Protector Level 2 course and receive your NRA-certified instructor sign-off for your Florida CWFL application.

Protector Level 1 | Pistol Fundamentals Course
Who it is for: Beginners and intermediate shooters who have never had their fundamentals properly corrected.
Most gun owners in Palm Beach County and Broward County have been shooting for years with habits nobody has ever corrected. Protector Level 1 is a three-hour pistol fundamentals course held at our private outdoor range in Okeechobee that fixes that. Grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and live-fire accuracy drills are all covered with real-time correction from an NRA-certified instructor watching every single rep. Whether you have never had formal firearm training or you have been shooting for years, this course finds exactly where your foundation has gaps and closes them.
Maximum ten students per session ensures every student gets the individual attention a group class at a crowded indoor range cannot provide.

Protector Level 2 | Concealed Carry Concepts Course
Who it is for: Gun owners who carry or plan to carry and want to know they are genuinely ready, not just licensed.
A Florida concealed carry permit tells the state you are legally allowed to carry. Protector Level 2 makes sure you are actually prepared to. This intensive three-hour course at our private outdoor tactical facility in Okeechobee covers the skills that a static indoor range in Palm Beach County or Broward County simply cannot teach — drawing from a holster under stress, shooting while moving, magazine changes under pressure, use of cover and concealment, vehicle-based defensive shooting scenarios, and real-time shoot or no-shoot decision making.
This course also qualifies for Florida Concealed Weapon License certification. Students who complete Protector Level 2 receive NRA-certified instructor sign-off for their CWFL application.

EmpowHER | Women-Only Shooting Course in South Florida
Who it is for: Women of all experience levels across Palm Beach County and Broward County who want to train in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
EmpowHER is a women-only firearm training course built around how women actually learn. Small groups of four to eight women train together with a patient, NRA-certified instructor at a pace that builds genuine confidence rather than just range time. The course covers pistol fundamentals, safe firearm handling, situational awareness, and live-fire drills in a setting where no question is too basic and no beginner is made to feel out of place.
Firearms, eye protection, and ear protection are all provided. No prior experience is required. No equipment needed. Just show up ready to learn.

Defensive Rifle Course | AR-15 and Rifle Training in South Florida
Who it is for: Rifle owners across Palm Beach County and Broward County who want to know how to use their rifle effectively in a real defensive situation.
Owning a rifle for home defense is one decision. Knowing how to deploy it effectively when it counts is another. This three-hour defensive rifle course at our private outdoor tactical facility in Okeechobee covers rifle fundamentals, shooting on the move, vehicle-based defense scenarios, cover and concealment with a long gun, malfunction clearing, and high-stress rifle drills that build the kind of competency no indoor range in South Florida can develop.
Open to all skill levels. Rifle rental is available for students who do not yet own an AR-15 or similar rifle platform.

Group Firearm Training | South Florida Corporate and Private Groups
Who it is for: Corporate teams, families, friend groups, and organizations across Palm Beach County and Broward County looking for a shared training experience that builds real skills.
Custom group firearm training built entirely around your group’s goals, experience levels, and objectives. Whether your group wants a foundational firearms safety experience, a concealed carry focused session, or a full tactical training day at our outdoor facility in Okeechobee, the curriculum is designed from scratch around what your group actually needs. Every participant leaves with practical skills, shared experience, and a level of readiness that no other team-building activity comes close to producing.

Smoke and Barrel Gun Club | Okeechobee, FL Our private outdoor tactical training facility. Over 1.25 acres of fenced range, three full-size training vehicles, VTAC boards, steel reactive targets, and a full obstacle course. The only facility of its kind within driving distance of South Florida. Available for Protector Level 1, Protector Level 2, Defensive Rifle, EmpowHER, and Group Training sessions.

Do I need to bring my own firearm? No. Firearms, eye protection, and ear protection are provided for all courses. You do not need to own a gun to take any of our shooting courses.
Do I need prior experience? No experience is required for any course on this page. Our NRA-certified instructor works with complete beginners and experienced shooters alike, adjusting the pace and content of every session to match where each student actually is.
How do I get my Florida Concealed Weapon License? Complete either two private shooting lessons or the Protector Level 2 course, receive your instructor sign-off, and submit your application to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. We handle the training and certification component. You handle the application.
How long do courses take? Most group courses run three hours. Stop the Bleed certification is one hour. Private lessons are one hour per session. House of Worship Security Training duration varies based on group size and curriculum.
